What is Trxade?

Trxade is an online marketplace for pharmacies and other pharmaceutical buyers that provides easy access to pricing from top pharmaceutical suppliers from around the nation. With a simple product search, pharmacies can view the pricing of over 30,000 brand and generic pharmaceutical SKUs. Our system also allows the pharmacy to make immediate purchases from the suppliers of their choice, making it easier than ever to purchase top quality pharmaceuticals at the lowest possible price.

Trxade membership is completely free to licensed pharmacies and registration is simple. Through Trxade’s trademarked Pharmacy Acquisition Cost (PAC), Trxade offers its valued members a cost comparison and purchasing solution for making educated buying decisions.

What are the costs/fees of being a Trxade member?

Trxade Membership is available at NO COST to licensed pharmaceutical buying establishments.  There are no fees to register or to make purchases through Trxade.

Wonder how we make money? Our suppliers pay a small transaction fee for purchases made through our website. They benefit from having access to our members on our secure platform.

Do we have to sign a contract?

We do not have purchasing contracts to be a member on Trxade. We offer the flexibility to use our platform as much or as little as needed. The members that maximize their savings are buying up to 10% outside of their Primary supplier and use Trxade as their primary secondary source. Our top Pharmacies purchase over $100,000 per month using our platform and experience a bottom line savings of over $100,000 per month.

If there are no fees to be a member, how does Trxade make money?

Similar to Amazon and eBay, the seller pays a small transaction fee in order to compete for your business. The seller benefits by offering its products to Trxade’s large member base.

What are the suppliers’ shipping terms?

Our Suppliers offer various shipping methods to meet the needs of our members including free next-day, 2nd day, and ground shipping when order minimums are met. If minimum is not met, you can select from the shipping options available and will be shown additional fees, if any.

Orders placed through Trxade are immediately transmitted electronically to the supplier of the products you wish to purchase. In your shopping cart, you will see each supplier name and will have access to additional information about that supplier (license information, shipping guidelines, repayment terms, etc.).

Our intuitive platform selects the best available shipping option for you with the option to change shipping methods as needed.

Please Note: some products must ship via Ground transportation due to laws governing the transportation of some medications (aerosols, liquids, etc.)

Who do I pay for the purchases?

Orders placed through Trxade are immediately transmitted electronically to the supplier(s) you have selected. These suppliers will fulfill and ship your order and will invoice you directly. Most suppliers offer generous repayment terms. The information regarding each supplier’s specific repayment terms can be found in the product search results for each supplier as well as in your shopping cart before checkout.

Are your suppliers track and trace compliant?

Yes, each of Trxade’s suppliers has been thoroughly vetted and is pedigree compliant. Through Trxade, you have direct access to transaction pedigree information via electronic web portal, invoice/pedigree request combo at point of sale, or by directly requesting transaction history – up to six years from point of sale from each supplier.

Do you offer ADD and ADD-pending suppliers?

Trxade has ADD Certified Suppliers and Non-ADD Suppliers. We make it easy to identify if a supplier is ADD (Accreditated) on the site, you can also filter to only see ADD Suppliers based on the individual items you are searching (Example: Diabetic Supplies, Etc.), or hide Non-ADD Suppliers from all search results via “Manage Suppliers” settings.  Each ADD Supplier’s accreditation is verified through the National Associations of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).

Is Trxade affiliated with a primary supplier?

Trxade has multiple supplier partnerships but is not tied to any of the “Big 3” primary suppliers, Amerisource, Cardinal, or McKesson.

How do I become a member of Trxade?

Becoming a Member of Trxade is easy and free. Simply click on the “Register” link on the navigation menu or any of the buttons you’ll find on the site for our self-registration option. We also offer a guided registration with the assistance of a Trxade representative. To schedule a guided registration, please call 1-800-805-8705 or complete our contact form. We also offer a free live demo of our member website if you would prefer to see it in action before registering. Once you’ve become a member, our Member Support Team will assist you with your transactions until you are fully comfortable with the system. You may always call us for assistance.

There is NO COST to becoming a member. There are NO contracts and NO monthly minimums.

Please Note: Due to the nature of our website and services, only Federal and State licensed facilities in good standing with all regulatory agencies can become members of Trxade. You will be asked to fax us a copy of these licenses during the registration process.

What information is collected during the registration process?

For the safety and security of our members, it is vitally important that we validate each of our registrants. In order to gain full access to Trxade’s member site and services, you must complete the following registration process.

We pre-populate many of these documents for your convenience. It takes just minutes to review, sign and fax these forms to us.

Please Note: Some suppliers require an additional application at purchase. Our member service team will assist you with this process.

Is my information safe?

Absolutely. At Trxade, we take our members’ safety and security very seriously. Our systems use secure digital transmissions of information and your information is stored within state-of-the-art data centers staffed by professional security companies. We also comply with all federal requirements to safeguard your information.

How do I search for products?

To search for any product, simply enter a full or partial product name or an NDC number in the search form to search all options for that product or you can click to search NDC specific to compare apples to apples. Your search results will consist of the products and pricing from the most competitive suppliers in the nation, with the lowest priced product (by unit) showing first. Select the quantity of any product you wish to purchase and add them to your shopping cart. You can continue to add products until your shopping list is complete. When ready, simply review, confirm and submit your order. An electronic purchase order will then be sent immediately to each supplier in your cart for processing. You will receive your ordered products and invoice directly from the supplier(s) you selected.

Do I have to fill out a new registration form for each potential supplier?

During the registration process we collect standard information that is provided to the supplier at the point of your initial order. For most of our supplier partners, the information we collect is sufficient to establish your account. Some suppliers, however, do require that you complete additional documentation to establish your account. To make this process as seamless as possible, we pre-populate these documents for you with the information we have on file. You will simply need to e-sign or print and fax the document to complete account setup.

To expedite initial orders, you can access supplier documents at any time by going to Supplier Info > Manage Suppliers section. Here you can access and complete these documents in advance of ordering will prevent delays when your initial order is placed.

How do I enroll multiple pharmacy locations?

Each entity is regarded as a individual member and has to be registered as such. A new registration would be required for each facility.

Can I do business with a supplier I have never heard of?

Absolutely. All suppliers on Trxade have been successfully verified through a stringent qualification process following Federal and State guidelines, with all federal and state licenses on file with Trxade. This information is provided to you during your product searches so that you know exactly who the supplier is that is representing the product for sale.
